JOHN ZIMA, SVS KICKING DIRECTOR
Over several years, John Zima has been working with Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and New York high schools, collegiate and arena players. John has held numerous high school special teams coaching positions and was the Director of Player Personnel and Assistant Offense Coach with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks Professional Indoor Football Team.
KICKING/PUNTING CAMP OVERVIEW
SVS Sports Sports offers One-Day Camps for Kickers and Punters.
Each camp provides 3 hours of position-specific instruction by the SVS staff. These Camps are considered by many, as the best instructional camps on the East Coast. Our Kicking Camps are supervised by John Zima of Kick It!

What to bring:
Football, Sneakers, Spikes
(for Kicking Camp, players should also bring portable holder, one inch kicking block and kick off tee)
We provide individual and group sessions on kicking & punting.
Our program is open to novice and experienced kickers for both soccer and straight on kickers. Soccer players who have never played football are welcomed. Our program entails fundamental drills to improve accuracy and proper techniques to add distance to your field goals, kickoffs and punts. During the sessions we focus on situational kicking and punting to manage any stressful game situation.
Our program goes beyond the kicking sessions as we will supervise your off-season training programs to build mass, power and explosion for kicking purposes. In season we can evaluate your game film for feedback and coaching points to polish your performance. To bring your game full circle, we can provide you a recruiting service that is focused on the specialist driving your entire college recruiting objectives.
We are constantly studying and analyzing the practice sessions and games. We ask the player to “SELF EVALUATE” their performance to teach the kicker and punter how to coach themselves to develop into a high performing player.
We create a yearly plan that is customized to each players strengths and weaknesses. We develop the proper kicking and punting drills, structure a power and explosion weight lifting program, which is complemented with a diet program to build mass. No stone is left unturned!
During the season, we will attend one of your games to assess your performance and provide feedback. Each week you will receive communications on general tips on how to prepare for a warm night game to a cold night game, to an inclement weather game. We will provide you coaching on how to conduct your pre-game warmup to how to handle stressful game situations.
